Image data

TraceMyImage does not have a server component for image processing. Every tool on this site — the EXIF metadata checker, image similarity checker, color palette extractor, and OCR tool — runs entirely client-side in your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Images you upload into these tools are never transmitted to, received by, processed on, or stored on any server, including ours. When you close or navigate away from a tool page, the image data is gone.

The reverse image search tool is the one deliberate exception: it opens a third-party search engine (Google Lens, TinEye, Yandex Images, or Bing Visual Search) in a new browser tab. If you then upload your image to that engine, it is subject to that engine's own privacy policy — not ours. We recommend reviewing their policies directly.

Analytics and advertising

Placeholder — we have not yet finalized which analytics or advertising providers, if any, this site will use. This section will be updated with the specific provider(s), what data they collect (e.g. page views, aggregate usage patterns), and any relevant opt-out information before any such provider is enabled in production.

Cookies

This site does not currently set any cookies related to image processing. If analytics or advertising providers are added in the future, this section will be updated to reflect any cookies they use.
